Located at the southern end of Little Shuswap Lake, is the little town of Chase; also known as The Gateway to the Shuswap. The Village of Chase, "Home to the Big Horn Sheep", is located 56 kilometres (40 minutes) east of Kamloops on the Trans Canada Highway, or 20 minutes West of Salmon Arm. Chase offers all the amenities of a large city combined with the beauty of spectacular scenery. Chase is home to so many activities and attractions. There is something to do every season of the year. From horseback riding to white river rafting with our friends from Adams River Rafting, you will find some kind of event or activity that will invigorate you during your stay with us. Chase and the area boasts a great water sport selection including fishing, boating, water skiing, cand so on. For those of you who like to partake in the simpler relaxing activities, there are many trails for hiking, biking, and walking. The shuswap region is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in BC.
In the winter months, you find no problems when looking for snow mobile trails, cross country skiing trails, and Chase is less than 2 hours from Sun Peaks Ski Resort or Silver Star Ski Resort. Both of these locations offer some great downhill skiiing.

SALMON ARM ROOTS & BLUES FESTIVAL: 20 Minutes from Chase is Salmon Arm. Salmon Arm hosts the Canadian renowned Roots & Blues Festival. This event takes place in August. The event showcases some of the best musicians from Canada and around the world. This organization also hosts several events throughout the year as well as the festival. Check out the links page to get to these other websites. We would like to mention one other that is a must see if you are visiting with us in the late summer months: The Adams River Salmon Run. Every year in the fall the sockeye salmon return to their spawning grounds, and people from around the world congregate to watch this spectacle of nature. This is something that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. Visit their website for more information about the event. The Adams River Salmon Society celebrates the world famous “Salute to the Sockeye” and encourages higher levels of education, preservation and understanding of our environment. It truely is something to see!
